Fairhope Brewing Company's 2nd Annual Mardi Gras in July
/Have you ever thought about how great it would be if Mardi Gras wasn't a once a year event? Well, Fairhope Brewing Company (FBC) totally agrees and for the second year in a row, they have decided to take the initiative and hold an additional mid-year celebration. FBC will be hosting Mardi Gras in July, Saturday, July 18, 2015 from 2pm – 11pm.
The FBC regular brew lineup will be available at the event as well as more than 15 specialty beers brewed just for the occasion including:
Lil’ Poison Ale - the brewery’s popular Mardi Gras recipe
King Cake Stout - was brewed with an actual king cake
La Flama Blanca - double IPA brewed with jalapenos
Ecor Rouge - American wild ale only availalbe in bottles
White IPA
Barrel-Aged Merry Widows - Russian Imperial stout that was aged in port wine barrels
A Night in Paris - an easy drinking concotion using French saison yeast
Traditional Mardi Gras street food will be provided by Fairhope’s Bean & Bistro. Starting at 4pm, the Bay City Brass Band will be playing classic carnival tunes until Fat Man Squeeze takes the stage at 7pm.
Feeling really festive and want to add a furry family member to the mix? Baldwin County Human Society will be on hand from 2-4 pm offering pet adoption opportunities.
Entry fee is $5 and includes a commemorative Mardi Gras in July glass.
