Beer Pairing Dinner: Tastes of Latin America

This year Hopjacks has hosted some notable beer dinners including the Dogfish Head's AHopEclipse Now and the Pig & Beer Dinner during ACBW. The Pensacola craft beer community has shown great support for these events, enough so that Hopjacks has since stated that they've decided to start having monthly beer dinners. Their resident beer geek Tim Dohms will continue to plan the menus for these monthly dinners.

This month's beer dinner will take place at Hopjacks - Nine Mile Road on Thursday, June 20th. The theme for the dinner is "Tastes of Latin America".

See the flyer for a description of the four courses being served. Hopjacks just released the planned beer pairings today, they are as follows:

These beer dinners are a welcome addition to the area. We look forward to what Hopjacks offers in the upcoming months and encourage the community to check out one of these beer dinners soon.

A Hop Eclipse Now! in Pensacola

For those familiar with Dogfish Head (DFH) Brewery, you already know that DFH has released some amazing IPA style beers. There is the continually hopped lineup of 60, 90, and 120 minute IPAs. The bottle conditioned 75 minute IPA (a blend of 60 and 90 minute IPAs with maple syrup added), the Robert Johnson's Hellhound On My Ale IPA (brewed with dried lemon peel and flesh), the oak-aged Burton Baton IPA, and their Indian Brown Ale (a unique cross between an IPA, Scotch Ale, and American Brown Ale).

DFH is celebrating their innovative IPA lineup with a series of beer dinners held across the country. They are also bringing two brand-new IPAs, a redesigned Randall the Enamel Animal, and a a special new glass to these events.

The good news is that they will be holding one of these "AHopEclipse Now! beer dinners at Hopjacks Nine Mile Road. The event will be taking place on Wednesday, March 13th starting at 7 pm.

Souther Tier Beer Tasting with Tim Dohms

Hopjacks Nine Mile Road will be holding a Southern Tier Beer Tasting next Thursday, Jan 24th from 5-7 pm.
