3rd Annual Pensacola Craft Beer Festival
/The local beer festival season may be wrapping up but it isn't over yet! The Third Annual Pensacola Craft Beer Festival takes place at Community Maritime Park on Saturday, November 15th from 2 - 6 pm. The festival will include food vendors, arts & craft vendors, and multiple entertainment events:
Live Music
Music from local artists will be playing at the Maritime Amphitheater all day long. The list of bands/performers that will take the stage during the festival includes:
- Chain Smoking Hags - local band playing "low down nasty blues/ swamp rock".
- Jess Meuse - #4 on the thirteenth season of American Idol, playing "a blend of southern rock with alternative and rock n’ roll".
- Tyler Mac - local who has toured with Van Morrision, The Allman Brothers, and Johnny Winter to mention only a few. His Debut album "Already Home", released in 2012, was nominated by the "The Blues411 Annual ‘Jimi Awards’" in the category of "Best New Debut Release".
Whiskey Corner
Old Hickory Whiskey Bar will be sponsoring a “Whiskey Corner” where you can sample several incredible whisky offerings. Old Hickory is one of Pensacola Beer's favorite local venues (when not drinking beer) and the whiskey corner is sure to be a welcome addition to the festival. Sampling at the Whiskey Corner costs an additional $10.
Car Show
Hill-Kelly Dodge is sponsoring the 3rd Annual Panhandle Mopar car show. Registration for one vehicle costs $25, additional vehicles cost $10 each.
Cornhole Tournament
Kaboom Sports & Social Club will be hosting a double elimination cornhole tournament in conjunction with the festival. Registration starts at 11 am and the tournament starts at 12 pm. Participation in the tournament costs $60 per team of two in advance and will cost $70 at the gate. Purchase price includes two tickets to the festival. General admission tickets cost $35. VIP tickets are $70 and get you into the festival at 1pm, an hour earlier then general admission. VIP tickets also include sampling of special brews from Pensacola Bay Brewery's brew master, Mark Robertson, paired with dishes from H20's local celebrity chef Dan Dunn. VIP ticket will not sold at the gate and must be purchased online by November 10th.
